Requirements and Responsibilities

Terminal Operations Specialist II assists in the operations of a storage/distribution terminal (bulk, package, or both) associated with a plant. Performs loading, unloading, and monitoring activities. Being a Terminal Operations Specialist II maintains terminal property and equipment. Complies with all required safety policies, regulations, and procedures to ensure secure and safe operations. Additionally, Terminal Operations Specialist II prepares records and reports related to shipments and inventory. Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Terminal Operations Specialist II works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. To be a Terminal Operations Specialist II typically requires 1-3 years of related experience, or may need 0 years of experience with additional specialized training and/or certification.
