Requirements and Responsibilities

Trader (Block) I is responsible for the timely buying and selling of block orders. Reviews orders to ensure accuracy, proper record keeping, and conformance to regulations. Being a Trader (Block) I evaluates market volatility and ensures clients receive the best rate available. Executes stock orders that consist of at least 10,000 shares or that have a value of $200,000 or more. Additionally, Trader (Block) I requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and may require state licensure. Typically reports to a manager. To be a Trader (Block) I typically requires 0-2 years of related experience. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Work is closely managed.
