Requirements and Responsibilities

Trading Settlement Accountant III is responsible for the post trade accounting activities. Ensures the accurate and timely settlement of securities, commodities, or derivative trades. Being a Trading Settlement Accountant III reconciles trade transaction data, verifies trade confirmations, manages cash flows, and resolves discrepancies with brokers or custodians. Monitors trade lifecycles and creates internal profit and loss reports. Additionally, Trading Settlement Accountant III ensures adherence to regulatory requirements and internal control policies. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Trading Settlement Accountant III work is generally independent and collaborative in nature.
