Requirements and Responsibilities
Traffic/Rate Analyst II evaluates and designs transportation and distribution procedures to maximize delivery efficiency. Researches and analyzes freight costs and classifications, delivery methods, and delivery schedules to minimize delivery costs and maximize customer satisfaction. Being a Traffic/Rate Analyst II requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Traffic/Rate Analyst II occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. To be a Traffic/Rate Analyst II typically requires 2-4 years of related experience.
