Training Senior Manager designs, plans, and implements training programs, policies, and procedures. Collaborates with functional teams to assess ongoing and future training and development needs and the effectiveness of established programs. Being a Training Senior Manager researches new training techniques and suggests enhancements to existing training programs to meet the organization's changing needs. Engages with vendors providing supplemental training programs or training content. Additionally, Training Senior Manager ensures that training resources and delivery methods are kept up to date and are effective. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Training Senior Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Training Senior Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.
