Transportation Manager manages and coordinates the transportation network within an organization. Handles domestic and/or international transportation request to meet customer needs. Being a Transportation Manager is responsible for evaluation and improvement of transportation network. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Additionally, Transportation Manager typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Transportation Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget.
