Monitors the evaluation and analysis of inspection reports, location, risk, credit reports, and additional information to accept, decline, or renew an application. Being an Underwriting Director - P&C develops and implements guidelines and procedures regarding risk exposure, application renewal, acceptance, modification, and denial. Provides assistance on more complex applications. Additionally, Underwriting Director - P&C ensures compliance with all industry and governmental regulations. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically requires Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU). Typically reports to senior management.
