Aligns digital strategy with the overall organizational marketing goals and objectives. Being a VP of Digital Marketing utilizes search engine optimization (SEO) analytics and search engine marketing (SEM) techniques to increase traffic to the website. Ensures the ongoing development, curation, and deployment of compelling content to attract, engage and retain visitors and promote sales. Additionally, VP of Digital Marketing employs social media, email, and mobile marketing campaigns. Reviews online performance statistics and tracks marketplace trends to optimize online marketing performance. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The VP of Digital Marketing manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments. To be a VP of Digital Marketing typically requires 8+ years of managerial experience.
