Aircraft Electrician performs preventative and non-routine maintenance and inspections of aircraft avionics and electrical systems. Uses manufacturer's reference documents, diagrams, and best practices to troubleshoot problems, identify the correct solutions and replace or repair components and parts. Being an Aircraft Electrician conducts quality testing, verification procedures, and required documentation of all completed work. Ensures compliance with all FAA maintenance regulations and requirements. Additionally, Aircraft Electrician typically requires an associate degree in aviation electronics, avionics or equivalent. Requires Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Aircraft Electrician works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job.     We are currently looking for Mobile Maintenance Electrician with building services experience to join the mobile engineering team, covering multiple sites within Yorkshire, Humberside & North Lincolnshire.

    Role Summary:

    Mobile Maintenance Electrician to carry out the PPM and Reactive activities within Yorkshire, Humberside & North Lincolnshire in accordance with our contractual agreements.

    Day to day duties for this role include but are not limited to:

    • To carry out planned and reactive maintenance in accordance with the company’s PPM and task schedules.
    • Undertake PPM activity in a quality, professional manner.
    • Produce technical and situational reports as required.
    • Proactively use the technology systems given to you so that the company can always be compliant with its contractual obligations.
    • Always carry out the works requested in a professional and proactive manner.
    • To communicate clearly and effectively with the rest of the team and the clients.
    • Writing activity reports in line with company procedures accurately and timely.
    • Proactively assisting the management team to produce quotations by giving accurate and good quality information where extra works are identified.
    • Attending team meetings/briefings as always requested.
    • To ensure that the company is always presented in a good light.
    • To escalate any major site issues or incidents to your line manager asap once noticed.
    • To manage Integral sub-contractors whilst working on site.

    Essential skills, knowledge and experience:

    • C&G Level 2 and 3 Diploma Electrical Installation.
    • C&G 2360 Parts 1 & 2 or 2330 Levels 2 & 3.
    • Test & Inspection.
    • C&G 18th Edition Certificate.
    • Strong electrical and mechanical maintenance experience.
    • Knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems.
    • Knowledge of building fabric and experience in carrying out basic fabric reactive repairs when required.
    • Basic plumbing skills.
    • Sound understanding and experience of meeting health and safety obligations with regard to maintenance activities.
    • Must be prepared to work out of hours when required and participate in a call out rota.
    • Have good communication and organisation skills.
    • To be discussed at interview
    • Monday-Friday standard working hours.
    • Have a positive ‘can do’ attitude.
    • Ability to work on own or as part of a team.
    • Driving licence.
