GENERAL SUMMARY
The Junior Systems Engineer role is responsible for the operation, monitoring and maintenance of systems hardware and software on large local area networks. This position will have an emphasis on backend systems and related infrastructure support working with IT Department staff, contractors, and other partners. Daily operational activities would include supporting network, server, and telecom hardware while being mentored by senior IT infrastructure staff.
Additionally, the Junior Systems Engineer will provide logistical support for IT systems operations and aid in the implementation of projects related to IT infrastructure needs.
