We are seeking a Mechanical Engineering Technician for our machinery manufacturing company, located near Wilder, Vermont.
Responsible for working as part of a team on a variety of prototype projects (e.g., full pumps, turbocharger technology, gas turbine engine development). Complete hardware assembly and prototype testing. Fabricate and assemble development and production rigs and equipment. Calibrate and install instrumentation. Conduct routine acceptance and performance testing. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Must have at least five years’ experience working with prototyping, hardware fabrication and assembly with outstanding organization and communication skills. Experience with rotating equipment, electrical/hydraulics is a plus. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Mechanical engineering in technology degree or relevant technical degree or certification as an FAA certified airframe and power plant technician is required.
