We are seeking highly motivated candidates in the Aiken County, South Carolina area for a growing general law practice. Experience working in a legal office is required. Must be able to prioritize projects, and Travel 15% of time to local Courthouses. Candidates will be supporting a practice that specializes in real estate transactions, estate planning and civil litigation. Candidates with experience in those areas of law are preferred.
JOB DUTIES include (but are not limited to) dictation, formatting and proofreading correspondence, pleadings and other legal documents, electronic court filings, maintain attorney’s schedules, calendars, deadlines, client billing and accounting and client files. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office software including Word and Outlook.

You are a skilled problem solver who is able to anticipate problems and formulate solutions without having to be asked. You do not think small tasks are “beneath you”.
After the first 30 days of employment, you will be expected to perform without much help from the attorney. Your job performance will be reviewed after the first 90 days with the law firm.
