Supply Chain Expeditor at Womack

Supply Chain Expeditor is part of Supply Chain Services, supporting Sales and Operations throughout the entire Organization. An Expeditors main function is to identify and close product gaps in the Supply Chain, so that we satisfy the expectations of our Customer. The Expeditors will also be responsible for managing Small Assembly processes. An ideal candidate will have experience with MRP software, multitasking projects, and analytical problem solving.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Using reports and dashboards, evaluate future shortages for products. Considering multiple variables and factors, evaluate options to eliminate/reduce the inventory gap.
• Work with Suppliers and internal departments to identify and develop potential solutions.
• Communicate with Customer Service and Sales departments to select and execute the agreed upon actions.
• Update MRP data based on communications and chosen solutions.
• Perform trend analysis to identify opportunities to improve stocking levels, system data, and workflow gaps.
• Manage Small Assembly processes, including: BOM maintenance, Production Order management, BOM & Assembly file management.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relatable field preferred 
• Will accept appropriate combination of experience and education
• 2-3 years Supply Chain, Customer Service, Expediting or Logistics is strongly preferred 
• ISO or AS9100 experience preferred

Skills & Abilities

• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
• Ability to functionally use large data sets and derive desired information
• High attention to detail with forward-looking approach
• Ability to develop and communicate multiple solutions to solve problems with multiple variables
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel. Able to use advanced analytical features such as pivot tables and functions
