The Broker Relations Representative is an entry-level position that will assist the Broker Relations team with administrative tasks and provide support for the daily functions of the department.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist the Broker staff with projects, assignments and daily duties, such as data entry, updating and maintaining filing system 
• Sort mail, order supplies, and greet visitors as needed. 
• Input daily departmental data entry 
• Build knowledge of Broker Relations field through shadowing opportunities with staff at various levels 
• Take detailed notes for Broker Relations meetings 
• Assist in preparation of reports, help create procedures, processes, technical documentation and manuals. 
• Update and maintain filing system of teams assigned 
• Help create procedures, processes, technical documentation and manuals
• Answer, return and direct any phone calls, sort mail, order supplies, and greet visitors 
• Complete any training assigned 
• Actively contribute to achievement of department goals
• Answer broker calls (Inbound and outbound)

Job Requirements:

• Entry-level administrative position 
• Must have good verbal and written skills 
• Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel
• Familiarity with MS Access 
• Candidates must be detail oriented with some administrative skills 
• Entry level Licensed insurance agents (Life and Health Licensed) 
• Administrative, Customer service or call center experience preferred 

Job Details:

• Starting pay rate $17.00 -19.00 per hour (based on experience) 
• Benefits offered – healthcare, dental, life insurance, etc. 
• Full time – Monday – Friday / 8am -5pm 
• Location: Galleria area
