Job Summary
The Career Services Supervisor II - is a key team member in the operation of Neighborhood House (NH)’s, employment and training programs. This position will report to the Economic Opportunity Program Director and has primary responsibility for providing staff supervision, assisting in the oversight, review and analysis of career services and ensuring quality and accurate outcomes for program participants. Currently, NH career services programming includes career counselling and employment services, job seeker skill development, and access to support services and training, and other resources.
This position will assist in the planning, design and implementation of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) programs and other programs funded by the Workforce Development Council of Seattle, King County. The Career Supervisor II will work closely with NH’s economic opportunity team to promote service integration and offer clients appropriate services from NH’s comprehensive menu of available programs. This position will be primarily located in Tukwila but will be fairly mobile, as staff on the team are located in Central Seattle, South Seattle, West Seattle, Tukwila, Kent and Auburn. One day per week can be remote.
