    As a Licensed Clinical Director with HSC, you will serve as a key leader in overseeing the clinical operations of our programs. This role is responsible for providing clinical guidance, supervision, and support to our clinical and licensing staff. The Licensed Clinical Director will ensure that our programs are delivered in accordance with best practices, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements, with a focus on promoting positive outcomes for youth and families.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Provide clinical supervision, consultation, and support to clinical and licensing staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to youth and families.
    • Assists with crisis management, de-escalation techniques, training of staff and foster parents when needed.
    • Monitors the completion of treatment and/or developmental plans to ensure they are concise, appropriately reflect youth needs, completed promptly, and appropriate data regarding outcome is documented in the plan.
    • Develop and implement clinical policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure compliance with licensing standards and best practices.
    • Conduct regular case reviews and provide guidance on complex cases, integrating evidence-based interventions and trauma-informed approaches.
    • Provide ongoing training, mentorship, and professional development opportunities for clinical and licensing staff, ensuring they have the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in their roles.
    • Foster a culture of learning, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the clinical team.
    • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff, recognizing achievements and addressing areas for growth.
    • Serve as a liaison with external stakeholders, including government agencies, community organizations, and partner agencies.
    • Build collaborative relationships with other service providers to coordinate care and support for youth and families.
    • Represent the agency at meetings, conferences, and events to promote awareness of our services and advocate for the needs of the populations we serve.
    • Ensures all initial counseling work-ups are completed including H&P, social history, immunization records, Medicaid card, consent for treatment, etc.
    • Leads community outreach activities, marketing, and family recruiting programs.
    • Maintains confidentiality of all clients and employees.
    • Requires regular and predictable attendance and punctuality.
    • Perform other duties and related functions as needed or assigned.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or equivalent licensure required.
    • Master’s or doctoral degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 3 years of post-licensure clinical experience, with a focus on child welfare, foster care, or related fields a plus.
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience providing clinical supervision and leadership in a human services setting.
    • Strong understanding of trauma-informed care principles, evidence-based practices, and ethical standards in behavioral health treatment.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
    • Commitment to cultural competence, diversity, equity, and inclusion.
