Community Health Director is responsible for developing plans for community-based health programs aimed at the prevention of disease and promotion of health. Recommends community health initiatives, policy implications and best practices after reviewing health literature and statistics. Being a Community Health Director identifies community health program related grant funding and develops grant proposals. Manages specific community health programs from planning and design through implementation and evaluation. Additionally, Community Health Director requires a master's degree in a related area. Typically reports to a top management. The Community Health Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Pay Range: $100,000 - $110,000 (dependent on experience/education)

The ideal candidate for this position will have prior experience in outpatient clinical settings and should have prior experience working with clients seeking mental health, SUD/MAT or co-occurring disorders. In addition, candidate should have a working knowledge of open access/urgent care/CBHC services. As a CBHC in the commonwealth, we serve clients from age 3 and their families. The ability to multi-task and manage staff from multiple components of programming (Clinical, Nursing, Admin Support, Program Support) will be a plus. The Site Director will be responsible for staff supervision, networking with collateral agencies and community-based stakeholders, oversight of grants and budget management.
This management position will require a keen eye to detail-including fidelity to contracts and licensing agencies, ability to multi-task, ability to monitor multiple projects at one time, ability to provide supervision and leadership to a multi-disciplinary team of employees to continue to improve access to services and timely delivery of services.
