Responsibilities:

• Oversee banquet events from setup to breakdown, ensuring seamless execution
• Lead and manage banquet staff, providing guidance and support throughout events
• Coordinate with the culinary team to ensure timely and accurate food service
• Maintain high standards of quality control for food presentation and service
• Conduct pre-event meetings with staff to review event details and expectations
• Handle guest inquiries and special requests promptly and professionally
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations during events

Experience:

• Previous experience in banquet, catering, or hotel operations
• Strong background in bartending, food handling, and food production
• Excellent interviewing and team management skills
• Knowledge of restaurant management practices is a plus

Duties:

• Manage all aspects of the room, including staff supervision, customer service, and inventory control
• Oversee the scheduling and coordination of events, meetings, and reservations
• Train and mentor staff to deliver outstanding service and uphold company policies
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally
• Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed

Skills:

• Proficiency in Aloha POS system
• Experience in the food industry, including cooking or catering
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
• Excellent hospitality management skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
• Knowledge of coffee preparation and service
• Ability to conduct interviews and make hiring decisions
• Culinary background is a plus
