Energy Dispatcher, Sr. jobs in Portsmouth, OH

Description

• Functions as the primary point of contact on all HR, pay and benefit matters involving plant employees.
• Responds to basic employee questions verbally and via e-mail and requests in a timely manner or escalates as needed.
• HRIS data management (reporting, address updates, processing new hires and terminations, etc.)
• Compiling data for payroll bi-weekly.
• Prepares and / or maintains employment related records for hiring, termination, leaves of absences, transfers, promotions, discipline, pay actions.
• Works with supervisors to monitors PTO, attendance, FMLA, sick days and maintains sick day log.
• Support resolution of the payroll issues for union and non-union.
• Complete employment verifications.
• Schedules drug testing
• Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files.
• Ensure all new hires, including transfers, are onboarded appropriately so the transition is as smooth and effective as possible.
• Makes photocopies; mails, scans and emails documents. Other clerical duties to support plant leadership.
• Assists with new employee background checks.
• Researches data per employee / GM / VP HR / HRM requests.
• Provides support with plant events planning, townhalls, etc.
• Scan employee files and other documentation for electronic record keeping.
• Posting electronic board announcements, distributing newsletters, plant updates.
• Maintains site data in HR Sharepoint.
• Other duties as assigned.
