    Responsibilities

    • Set up and maintain paper and electronic filing systems for time and attendance and employee records, correspondence, and other material.
    • Maintains and documents Associate time and attendance information and notifies management as needed.
    • Coordinate and arrange meetings, prepare agendas, reserve and prepare facilities and record and transcribe minutes of meetings as required.
    • Answer telephones and give information to callers, take messages, or transfer calls to appropriate individuals.
    • Greet visitors and callers, handle their inquiries, and direct them to the appropriate persons according to their needs.
    • Operate office equipment such as fax machines, copiers, and phone systems, and use computers for spreadsheet, word processing, database management, and other applications.
    • Stock, maintain, order and organize the supplies, forms, binders, books and other assorted office supplies utilized and maintained by the assigned office.
    • Open, read, route, and distribute incoming mail and other material, and prepare answers to routine letters.
    • Complete forms in accordance with company procedures.
    • Develop Slot Drop routing using Auto-cad from drafts and instructions provided by Management.
    • Review work done by others to check for correct spelling and grammar, ensure that company format policies are followed, and recommend revisions.
    • Comply with policies and procedures required by the department and the company.
    • Held accountable, to a high degree, for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports.
    • Understand and follow all departments’ policies and procedures.
    • Leads by setting a positive example to all Associates.
    • Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular attendance record.

    AGE and GAMING:

    21 years of age or above

    Gaming property – Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Choctaw Gaming Commission.

     

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

    Minimum High School diploma plus one (1) year related experience and or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

     

    TESTING:

    Must score a minimum of 30 WPM, on the Keyboarding test and achieve a score of 70% or better within 20 minutes on the Excel test, and 85% on the Basic Math Test.  Must take the required testing identified for this position.

     

    SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

    Must possess excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.  Working knowledge of Auto-cad is preferred.

     

    LANGUAGE SKILLS:

    Ability to read, analyze, and interpret basic instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.

     

    MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

    Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

     

    REASONING ABILITY:

    Ability to apply commonsense reasoning to a variety of situations.

     

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by the Associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

     

    Essential responsibilities include moderate physical ability such as lift or maneuver at least forty (40) pounds, and able to walk, and stand as needed to perform duties.  Bending, stooping, kneeling, pushing, and pulling may be required throughout shift

    The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an Associate encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

     

    The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.  When on the casino floor, the noise level is loud.  When on the casino floor or other designated areas may be subjected to tobacco smoke. 

     

    Due to the unpredictable nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, Associates must be able to work varying-schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.
