Find your purpose as an Exercise Physiologist with Heart and Vascular Center at the St. Cloud Hospital!

In this role you will be responsible for the performance and supervision of cardiac stress testing.  Duties include assessment of patients, preparation for electrocardiogram, auscultation of heart sounds, and monitoring patients throughout stress test procedures to ensure diagnostic quality and patient safety. Guidelines and protocols follow ACSM and CentraCare Heart & Vascular Center standards.  Patients of all ages served. This position works at the St. Cloud Hospital in both the inpatient and outpatient settings as well as serving our local communities at our outreach centers. 

Position Details: 

• Full-time working 68 hours every two weeks
• Schedule including: 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday-Friday
• Rotating evening, weekends and holiday on-call

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology required.  
• 2 years Stress Lab-Nuclear/ETT/Stress Echo experience or Cardiac Rehab experience preferred.
• Successful candidate will have a strong working knowledge of ECG interpretation, Anatomy, Physiology, and Pathology of heart disease.  They will demonstrate skill in monitoring blood pressure, heart rate, and in the operation of stress testing equipment.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required per established policy.
•  American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) Exercise Specialist preferred.
• A valid Minnesota class D driver’s license and a vehicle available for work, a driving record in good standing, and the minimum amount of insurance liability coverage may be required.
