Head Nurse - Industrial directs nursing service activities in an industrial setting. Provides care to patients with emergency industrial accidents and surgery outpatients. Being a Head Nurse - Industrial plans and conducts training programs to promote employee health and safety in the workplace. Delegates responsibilities to auxiliary and industrial staff nurses. Additionally, Head Nurse - Industrial maintains pre-set inventory standards for solutions, supplies, medicines and equipment, and keeps track of narcotics. Requires a bachelor's degree in nursing. Requires Registered Nurse (RN). Typically reports to a director. The Head Nurse - Industrial manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. JOB SUMMARY:
This position assists Ravalli Head Start’s Education & Disabilities Manager to meet program requirements and provide necessary supports in the education and disability services.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assist in classrooms, as needed.
2. Provide technical supports and preparation of materials, as needed.
3. Assist in ordering classroom supplies, as needed upon approval.
4. Assist with training supports and preparation of meetings for education staff.
5. Assist with classroom monitoring system.
6. Maintain tracking systems to support education services, as required.
7. Assist with coaching preparations.
8. Assist with developmental screening, as assigned.
9. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or equivalency is required. Some early childhood experience and competency with basic computer skills is required. Combinations of education and experience will be evaluated on an individual basis.
