Position Description:

The Director/Clinical Supervisor shall be a Mental Health Professional , with a Masters Degree or above in Social Work, Psychology, Professional Counseling or other Human Service field. The candidate must have a minimum of two years experience in a Mental Health/Behavioral Health facility or Clinic. Professional License strongly preferred but not required.

The Director/Clinical Supervisors is responsible for the overall operation of the Psychiatric Outpatient Clinic, including daily management, ensuring that clinical supervision is available during all operational hours, developing a quality improvement plan for the clinic and monitoring adherence to Licensing regulations and Managed Care Organization standards.

Additional responsibilities shall include the following:

· Supervision of the clinical staff

· Development or implementation of the policies and procedures for the operation of the Clinic

· Regular meetings of clinical staff to discuss clinical cases, treatment plans, policies and procedures

· Liaison with other portions of the service system

· Supervision and documentation clinical staff training and development.

· Working closely with the Medical Director, Psychiatrists and CNRP’s
