Under the direction of Owner/Managing Partner perform a variety of administrative tasks.

Duties of the Office Manager include providing support to our Managers and staff, assisting in daily office needs and managing our company’s general administrative activities.  This individuals’ responsibilities include coordinating Plans, Plat, Zoning, Various Company Submittals to several different municipalities.   Will act as an executive assistant, working with several leaders in the company.  The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using tools, like MS Excel and office equipment.  Ultimately, a successful office manager should ensure the efficient and smooth day to day operation of our office.    

General Requirements:   High School Diploma or Equivalent.  Experience being an office Manager is a bonus.

Essential Job Functions: 

• Coordinating Company Engineering and Survey Submittal to various municipalities
• Manage meetings and appointment schedules for conference and community spaces
• Create and maintain inventory of all promotional items, Office Materials, Office Beverages, and Snacks and make sure stock is sufficient
• In coordination with HR and IT, act as another point person for onboarding of new employees, including office supply and furniture needs
• Act as liaison for Owners in oversight of facilities, including space planning/utilization, office moves and set-up, office equipment/supplies and furniture maintenance and repair
• Drop off and pick up company mail at PO Box, sort and distribute mail
• Serve as point of contact for couriers
• Organize and plan Company events such as Christmas Party
• Plan and execute end of year projects relating to filing sorting and moving documents for New Year
• Order food for lunch meetings
• Monitor office cleaning services making sure kitchen and bathrooms are upkept appropriately
• Manage office property
• Other duties and tasks as assigned
• Listen to Dad Jokes and laugh

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Must have reliable transportation to and from work, along with a valid driver license and clean driving record
• Position can be sedentary, sitting for long periods of time
• Bending, stooping can be required
• Occasionally lift and carry up to 20 pounds
• Extensive visual and auditory observation during work
• Repetitive hand and finger dexterity to communicate via email
• Ability to read and write English, Spanish would be a bonus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and new software with training
