Media Coordinator jobs in Alpine, AZ

SWOON Media is looking for a Public Relations Coordinator to assist our growing clientele base! The SWOON Public Relations Coordinator will work closely with clients and will develop press releases, create media coverage, assist in developing marketing campaigns, create digital client newsletters and SMS marketing messages, and will create and maintain press contacts.

Duties Include:

• Defining the clients public relations goals by developing and implementing strategies to reach the desired outcomes
• Writing and distributing detailed press releases, promotional social media posts, and fact sheets.
• Cultivating strong relationships with media outlets and journalists to ensure efficient communication and maximum coverage.
• Scheduling press conferences and public events, and coordinating interview requests.
• Working with the client or SWOON marketing team to plan and implement campaigns aimed at increasing brand awareness.
• Analyzing the outcome of public relations campaigns and reporting the findings to client management.
• Develop digital client newsletters and SMS marketing messages.
• Maintaining an up-to-date press list of journalists, influencers, and other members of the media.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in public relations, journalism, marketing, or a relevant field. Or at least 1 year of experience working in public relations.
• Excellent knowledge of public relations best practices, brand management, and media strategies.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate with personnel and members of the media.
• Superb written skills and knowledge of press release style guides.
• Solid organizational skills and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
• Up to date with digital marketing, public relations, and press trends
• Excellent social media skills

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
