SURGICAL MISSIONS MATERIALS MANAGER

Medical Missions for Children (www.mmfc.org) is a nonprofit organization that performs free cleft, dental, & burn surgeries in the developing world. We are seeking a either a full-time or Part-time Materials Manager for immediate hire and to work out of our Beverly, MA office. Applicants MUST have Medical Materials Management experience.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Associates Degree (RN or Surgical Tech background)
• OR Experience
• International experience is helpful, but not required
• Direct materials management experience is required

The Materials Manager (MM) manages all aspects of mission-related medical equipment and supply inventory. He/She is responsible for tracking, ordering, seeking donations in-kind, packing for missions and coordinating ground transportation for all supplies and equipment prior to and post-mission. The Materials Manager manages the full scope of issues pertaining to supplies, instruments, suture and equipment. The Materials Manager must travel on several missions each year, as needed, and precept individuals functioning on his/her behalf on missions he/she does not accompany. The Materials manager reports to the Executive Director.
