Nurse Practitioner - Psychiatric works in collaboration with physicians to manage care for patients in a psychiatric setting. Orders, interprets, and records results of clinical tests and reports results to physicians. Being a Nurse Practitioner - Psychiatric prescribes medications and makes recommendations for other therapeutic forms of treatment. Provides primary care to psychiatry and at-risk patients. Additionally, Nurse Practitioner - Psychiatric requires a master's degree. Requires Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP). Requires Registered Nurse (RN). Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Nurse Practitioner - Psychiatric's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. What You’ll Do:
- Tend to the mental health needs of patients by diagnosing, creating treatment plans, and providing continuity of care.
- Maintain a collaborative approach and be willing to work with Serenity’s team to provide the highest level of patient care.
- Establish and maintain excellent written and verbal communication skills both within our EHR system and in patient appointments.
Who We're Looking For:
- Must have completed a PMHNP program or be currently enrolled in one
- Must possess a valid and current Nurse Practitioner license
- True passion for helping patients overcome their mental health struggles
- Ability to work closely, and collaboratively with fellow team members
- Experience with, or passion in TMS and/or Ketamine treatments
- Ability to work approx. 2 Saturdays / month
