Job Summary

We areseeking a Sr. Operations Engineer who has a strong Refinery andchemicals background to join Refinery to Chemicals (RTC) Divisionof the LTC Business & Project Development Department to performoptimization of the refinery and chemicals sites integration study;

evaluation and selection of licensors for refinery complex MixedFeed Steam Cracker Petrochemical derivatives C4 coproducts andpygas based Aromatics Complex while ensuring safety andenvironmental compliance.

The Division is primarily responsible forRTC Project Development under This Company In Kingdom Liquids toChemicals Program (IK LTC) and drive the development of projectassessment and the delivery of project requirements through FEL IFEL II and FEL III (Project life cycle).

Sr. Operations Engineerwill be part of the Project Development & Technology teamreporting to the Manager and work closely with others.

Responsibilities :

• Evaluate and screen a range of technologyoptions for the Baseline Configuration.
• Alignthe level of detail and sources for technology input needed for LPopex and major considerations for facilities scope.
• Review the details and inputs for technology options andoutputs from the LP model including process yields qualities opexetc.
• Define the Process technology road mapand establish a timeline for engaging with technologylicensors / providers.
• Outline PreFEED / FEEDplans and deliverables related to the facility designbasis.
• Lead the evaluation of technologyoptions and the screening process.
• Participatein required hazard studies and analyses such as HAZOP.
• Provide technical inputs on the selected technologies andsensitivity cases.
• Liaise with thirdpartyvendors / suppliers to gather relevant information.

Requirements :

• This role required candidate topermanently relocate at Dhahran SaudiArabia.
• Successful candidatewith a Bachelors degree in Engineering from a recognized andapproved program.
• Minimum of 15 years ofexperience in the Refining & Chemicals business with a focus onintegration.
• Strong background in Refineryoperations and technical knowledge.
• Experiencein RefineryChemicals integration understanding the interplaybetween the two sectors.
• Proficiency inanalyzing process yields and qualities.
• Understanding of economics and capital efficiency in theRefining & Chemicals industry.
• Previousinvolvement in Refinery capital projects particularly inPreFEED / FEED development stages.
• Knowledge ofmolecule optimization and synergy integration.
• Ability to execute projects and demonstrate commercialunderstanding.
• Familiarity with technicalinterface management and coordination.
• Business development background including identifying andpursuing opportunities.
