Physician Assistant - Orthopedics assesses, plans, and provides patient care under the supervision of a physician. Examines patient, performs comprehensive physical examinations, and compiles patient medical data, including health history and results of physical examination. Being a Physician Assistant - Orthopedics orders and interprets appropriate laboratory and radiographic tests. Participates in daily patient rounds, writes progress notes, conducts patient education, counsels on preventative care, assists in surgery, writes prescriptions, and prepares discharge summaries. Additionally, Physician Assistant - Orthopedics requires a master's degree in Health Sciences for Physician Assistants or related. Requires completion of the PANCE exam administered by National Commission of the Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Requires Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C). Typically reports to a Physician. Physician Assistant - Orthopedics's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and supporting medical administrative tasks. Duties:
- Assist healthcare professionals with patient examinations and procedures
- Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Administer injections and medications as directed by healthcare providers
- Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for testing
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean and stocked with necessary supplies
- Provide patient education on medical conditions, treatments, and medications
- Schedule appointments, answer phone calls, and assist with medical administrative tasks
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health record systems
- Follow infection control protocols to ensure the safety of patients and staff
Requirements:
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent training
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and basic life support techniques
- Proficiency in coding and billing procedures is preferred

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
- Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting is highly desirable
