Project Manager - Construction jobs in Troy, NY

Initial 12 month contract with possible extensions

Looking for mid to senior level Construction Project Managers with construction install experience. Manufacturing facility construction experience. Capital investment projects experience. Project size ranges from $30k-$2m. 50% boots on the ground, 50% office related, project planning etc.

Chemical processing or oil and gas nice to have but not required. Will look at any type of commercial type background.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or similar, nice to have.
• At least 6 years of technical/engineering professional experience.
• Experience managing capital projects.
• Work experience in a chemical processing facility and/or oil & gas industries, nice to have.
• Experience with SAP project, maintenance, and purchasing transactions.
• Experience in execution of projects from inception, design and engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning in an operating plant.
• Familiarity with project engineering stage-gate workflows and recognized industry standards and practices such as those of the Project Management Institute (PMI) and Construction Industry Institute (CII).
• Working knowledge of PSM (process safety management) processes and systems.
