Savannah River National Laboratory has an opportunity for exceptional postdoctoral candidates with demonstrated scientific productivity to define and pursue a novel research project aligned with the mission of SRNL.  A white paper outlining a proposed research project is required at time of application.

The Dwight D. Eisenhower Distinguished Postdoctoral Fellowship is designed for the next generation of scientists and engineers who excel in the application of fundamental science and engineering. Candidates must demonstrate scientific productivity through peer-reviewed publications. Candidates must be capable of ideating novel concepts and experimental approaches and demonstrate that ability through the submission of a research white paper aligned to the mission of SRNL. 

Selected candidates will be provided resources to pursue the research outlined in their white paper proposed at time of application as their first research project at SRNL.  

All SRNL postdocs are provided a dedicated research advisor to support them in their professional development as a researcher. Postdoctoral Fellows are initial one-year appointments, with an option to renew up to three years. 

The Postdoctoral Research Associate positions are fixed term assignments within the company and benefits eligible.
