Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Maintenance to oversee and manage all aspects of our maintenance department. The Director of Maintenance will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of our facilities, equipment, and systems. This is a leadership role that requires strong technical knowledge, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to effectively manage a team. Responsibilities: - Develop and implement maintenance procedures and protocols to ensure optimal performance of all equipment and systems - Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and support as needed - Oversee the scheduling and coordination of maintenance activities, ensuring minimal disruption to operations - Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues or areas for improvement - Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or services - Manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality or safety - Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and preventative maintenance schedules - Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of maintenance goals with overall organizational objectives Experience: - Proven experience in maintenance management, preferably in a similar industry or facility - Strong technical knowledge in areas such as HVAC systems, electrical systems (both high voltage and low voltage), plumbing, and general building maintenance - Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and managing preventative maintenance schedules - Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and blueprints - Experience in fabricating or repairing mechanical components is highly desirable - Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team - Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues We offer competitive compensation packages including benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, etc. The salary range for this position will be commensurate with experience.
