Retail Store Detective jobs in Philadelphia, PA

The mission of the ShopRite Risk Management Department is to support the Company’s Business Plan by providing leadership, expertise, and training to the organization to safely reduce losses from inventory shortages and other controllable losses.

Store Detective Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Observation and detection towards apprehension of external/internal theft through sales floor observation, CCTV observation, and available exception reporting.
• Strict adherence to ShopRite policy and procedures.
• Assistance in CCTV review for potential external and internal theft incidents and maintenance of equipment in assigned stores.
• Preparation of appropriate case documentation for successful prosecution.
• Assistance in training and orientation of new store associates and additional store detectives.
• Work closely with local police departments.
• Testify in civil or criminal court proceedings.
• Occasional travel
• Collaborate with Law Enforcement.
• Organized Retail Crime Investigations
• Report's directly to the Loss Prevention Supervisor**
• This is an ide**al position for those who are looking to grow and develop their career in Loss Prevention. The Loss Prevention Detective must have the ability to work independently, have good written, and verbal communication skills.

• High school or equivalent (Required)
