Staff Nurse - RN - Intensive Care Unit provides professional nursing care to assigned patients in the intensive care unit. Performs various diagnostic tests, administers medications, and develops patient care plans in conjunction with other medical professionals. Being a Staff Nurse - RN - Intensive Care Unit assists physicians during examinations and procedures, operating and monitoring medical equipment as necessary. Observes patients' progress, records observations in patient medical record, and updates attending physician directly when necessary. Additionally, Staff Nurse - RN - Intensive Care Unit typically requires a bachelor's degree. Requires Registered Nurse (RN). Requires Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Staff Nurse - RN - Intensive Care Unit's years of experience requirement may be unspecified.     Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Neonatal ICU (NICU) RN to care for sick and/or premature newborn babies who need to be cared for and monitored, sometimes for weeks or months, until they are hopefully healthy and developed enough to go home.

    Contract Assignment – 13 Weeks (Temporary)
    Shift: 3x12 Days

    Requirements:
    • Motivated candidates who are looking for career growth
    • AHA Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers
    • BSN from accredited nursing program, and proper licensure
    • Excellent communication skills with the staff, physicians, patients, and families
    Work Experience: At least 2 years of experience
