Staff Nurse - RN - Outpatient Care provides professional nursing care to assigned patients in an outpatient facility or clinic. Records patient histories, performs various diagnostic tests, administers medications, and develops patient care plans in conjunction with other medical professionals. Being a Staff Nurse - RN - Outpatient Care assists physicians during examinations and procedures, operating and monitoring medical equipment as necessary. May call in pharmacy refills. Additionally, Staff Nurse - RN - Outpatient Care typically requires a bachelor's degree in nursing. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Requires a valid state RN license.     DESCRIPTION

    Qualifications: 1 years Rehab experience

    Certifications: BLS, ACLS

    Current RN licensure with Missouri State Board of Nursing or current RN Missouri temporary work permit

    Job Summary: Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards. Graduate of a state approved professional nurse program.

    Actual start dates may be prior to the estimated date listed on this position. Actual start dates are aligned to the beginning of a Mercy pay period and contingent upon final clearance of all required onboarding documents.
