Anson is a town in Somerset County, Maine, United States. The population was 2,511 at the 2010 census. It includes the villages of Anson and North Anson.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 48.29 square miles (125.07 km2), of which, 47.49 square miles (123.00 km2) of it is land and 0.80 square miles (2.07 km2) is water.
