Being a Wood Machine Operator may have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Wood Machine Operator relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. The role of a CNC Operator - Full-Time involves the operation of computer numeric controlled (CNC) heavy machinery for the production of metal parts and tools. Other machinery, including CNC vertical and horizontal lathes and horizontal boring mills, may also be operated.
