Academic Support Coordinator jobs in Memphis, TN

High school diploma required. Technical diploma or associate’s degree preferred. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word. Must possess organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks as required. Experience using QuickBooks and Banner a plus.

• Serve as institution’s point of contact by greeting visitors, walk-ins, prospective students and directing them to appropriate locations.
• Serve as a primary contact for the Truck Driving Program by working directly one on one with prospective and current students to include: assisting with recruitment and marketing, answering phone calls, disseminating information, providing tours, maintaining files and notifying students of enrollment dates.
• Assist CDL examiners with scheduling students for the CDL examination, data entry, filing, and maintaining necessary reporting to meet state requirements.
• Assist the Dual Enrollment Coordinator with dual enrollment processes to include: processing applications and grants, student registrations, and grade and attendance entry.
• Assist the Dual Enrollment Coordinator by contacting and communicating with secondary guidance counselors, principals, superintendents, teachers, and students in high schools throughout the service delivery area, business and industry, and other agencies as needed.
• Assist with receipting payments in QuickBooks and balancing a cash drawer.
• Other duties as assigned.
