The Outside Contractor Sales Account Representative positions are responsible for developing and growing assigned customer account sales. Development and growth will come from partnering with assigned customers to gauge their immediate and future needs, upcoming customer challenges, forecasted customer business as well as communication around industry trends, information, and market conditions. Team Members in this role have an extensive breadth and depth of industry, product, customer, and Friedman’s process knowledge. These roles will also be responsible for partnering with, as well as coaching and mentoring the Inside Contractor Sales roles. The Outside Contractor Sales Account Representatives are expected to spend most of their time visiting customer jobsites/offices on a routine and scheduled basis with office work and hours as needed. This role will be supported by Inside Contractor Sales I/II roles for multiple tasks including data entry (sales orders, sales quotes, purchase orders), product pricing and availability research for special orders as well as all order maintenance related activities.
