  • We are currently seeking an Accounting Assistant to join our team to help support the department by performing a variety of accounting, bookkeeping, and financial tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Data Entry: Accurately enter financial transactions into the accounting system.
    • Accounts Payable: Process invoices, match them with purchase orders, and ensure timely payments.
    • Accounts Receivable: Assist with billing, processing payments, and following up on overdue accounts.
    • Bank Reconciliations: Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
    • Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
    • Assist with Month-End Close: Support the accounting team during the month-end and year-end closing processes.
    • General Ledger Entries: Prepare and post journal entries as needed.
    • Expense Reports: Review and process employee expense reports.
    • Customer and Vendor Communication: Respond to inquiries from customers and vendors regarding billing and payments.
    • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the accounting department as needed.
    • All other responsibilities as needed.


    Desired Qualifications:

    • Highschool diploma or equivalent required
    • Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
    • 1-2 years of relevant experience in accounting or bookkeeping preferred.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and familiar with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage).
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
