Accounting Assistant jobs in Point Harbor, NC

Beach Realty is seeking a full-time, year-round Accounting Assistant to join our team! Candidates must be extremely detail-oriented and highly proficient in computer programs such as Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets. Prior accounting and/or property management experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Updating the property management system with maintenance needs, including ownership information and charge templates.
• Processing Vacation Rent Payment Web payments daily.
• Assisting with processing Accounting Service Orders daily.
• Weekly processing of sublets and booking revenue.
• Monthly processing of various reports, including Credit Card Fees, Owner Negative Balance, Non-Billable, Owner Linens and Cleans, and Security Deposit Refunds.
• Assisting in month-end closing procedures including various reports and payments to owners.
• Assisting with the annual preparation and sending of IRS Forms to Owners.
• Preparing various other reports as requested.
• Responding to customer calls and emails as needed.
• Assisting Service Department with closing out service orders and tech billing.
• Processing various projects as requested.

If you have strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills, we'd love to hear from you. Candidates must be able to commute to Kitty Hawk area Monday - Friday.

Preferred:
Full-time 40 hours per week. Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 5:30 pm
Competitive salary ($15-$18/hr) plus great benefits (Health/Dental/Life/401k).
