Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist to join our team. As an Accounting Specialist, you will be responsible for performing various accounting tasks, including general ledger reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, payroll and reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial accounting and possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. There will be some testing that is required.

Duties:

- Perform general ledger reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records

- Conduct balance sheet reconciliation to identify and resolve any discrepancies

- Prepare financial statements and reports for management review

- Assist with regulatory reporting requirements

- Utilize accounting software to record and process financial transactions

- Support the month-end close process by preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts

Skills:

- Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and practices

- Proficiency in using accounting software (e.g., Sage, QBs, Excel) to record and process financial transactions

- Experience with general ledger reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation

- Familiarity with accrual and cash accounting concepts and practices

- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail

- Strong problem-solving abilities

- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 24 per week

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift

Ability to Relocate:

• Sunrise Beach, MO 65079: Relocate before starting work (Required)
