Accounting Clerk performs routine accounting activities such as data entry, maintenance of the general ledger, preparation of various accounting statements and financial reports. Reviews, codes, and verifies transactions including billings, invoices, checks, and journal entries. Being an Accounting Clerk assists in completing moderately complex calculations using spreadsheets and other software tools. Reconciles accounts and bank statements. Additionally, Accounting Clerk has a basic understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Accounting Clerk works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Alliant Castings is looking for a fulltime Accounting Office Clerk / Bookkeeper to perform daily accounting and admin duties Monday - Friday, 8am-4pm. These tasks will support our financial and office team. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to; posting invoices, 3-way match, AP, ACH payments, AR, filing paperwork, entering customer orders, office inventory counts, answering the door and phones. Direct report to the Business Manager.
