Accounting Clerk jobs in Syracuse, NY

One of our great partners in Syracuse, NY is looking for their next Accounting Clerk!

This position works fully onsite Monday-Friday from 8am-4pm. The ideal candidate will be able to start ASAP, but they can wait for the right candidate if 2 weeks' notice is needed.

What You Bring

• Associate's in Accounting, Business, Finance, Economics, or Math
• 1 year of relevant experience in Accounting/Finance (3 years of relevant experience High School Diploma will be considered)
• Strong computer skills and attention-to-detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

What You'll Do

• Monitor expenses, handle invoices, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
• Ensure financial records are always fully accurate and up to date
• Assist auditors with preparing forms and compiling results
• Communicate with various stakeholders such as program participants and government agencies about income, expenses, taxes and other financial information
• Assist with other duties such as Accounts Receivable or training others as needed

Pay: $18.00 - $19.50 per hour
