Accounting Manager manages multiple accounting functions and operations such as general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, revenue, asset, cost, and tax accounting. Implements accounting policies and procedures that adhere to governmental financial and tax regulations and comply with GAAP and IFRS standards. Being an Accounting Manager oversees monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes and reporting. Evaluates accounting processes and systems and implements optimizations. Additionally, Accounting Manager develops and directs accounting professionals and support staff. Requires a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. May require Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credentials. Typically reports to a director or head of a unit/department. The Accounting Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Accounting Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Senior Project Manager to lead our Geotechnical and Materials Testing Tucson Business Unit. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in geotechnical engineering, materials testing, project management, and business development. Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure the highest standards of project delivery and workplace safety.
- Manage the Business Unit’s P&L, ensuring profitability and financial targets are met.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including preparing proposals, presentations, and bid submissions.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and repeat business.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers, and technical staff.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment that encourages professional growth and development.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related field.
10 years of experience in geotechnical engineering or materials testing preferred, with at least 5 years in a project management role.
Professional Engineer (PE) license is required or ability to obtain within 6 months.
Proven experience managing complex geotechnical projects and leading multidisciplinary teams.
Strong business acumen with experience managing P&L and driving business growth.
