The Role You'll Play to Create Success

We are happy to announce an Accounting Supervisor position, onsite at our Clearwater campus, filled with many exciting opportunities! In this role, you will have the opportunity to oversee and supervise accounting department operations, including accounts payable/receivable, escheat, and collections.

1. Oversees and reviews daily transactions including cash operations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, escheat, and collections.
2. Supervises and mentors the direct report accounting staff.
3. Evaluates and creates performance reviews.
4. Resolves systems issues relating to accounting.
5. Develops, improves, and documents accounting system processes and workflows.
6. Prepares and validates monthly commission statements for payment processing and reconciles commission payable.
7. Oversees and manages 1099 process.
8. Ensures compliance with the law.

The Attributes We Seek

Keys to success in this position include knowledge of GAAO and STAT accounting principles and regulations. Five (5) years of related accounting experience with a minimum of two (2) years of Supervisory experience is required. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business is preferred, high school diploma or equivalent is required. Insurance industry or MGA experience a plus.
