Grain Millers in Eden Prairie is seeking an Accounting Systems Support Specialist (actual title is Application Support Specialist)!

We employ nearly 1000 associates throughout North America. Our Eden Prairie, MN headquarters is the hub of our IT and Support infrastructure. Our manufacturing facilities are in MN, IA, WI, IN, OR and Canada.

Why we need you.

Because of our growth, we are looking for a talented Application Support Specialist to join our team. This position maintains and troubleshoots our internal enterprise applications, including Dynamics SL, WithoutWire Inventory Management software, Grain Smart and Uniwin. Experience with these applications is preferred, but not required.

Who you are.

As the liaison between our internal users and the applications, you are the embodiment of efficiency, expertise, and support. You understand the world of accounting and want different challenges.. Your adept problem-solving skills enable you to swiftly troubleshoot and resolve issues within our application systems. You have meticulous attention to detail that extends to the development and review of process and procedure documents, facilitating effective user training and continuous improvement.

• Act as a single point of contact to internal users for all questions regarding usage of our internal enterprise applications, including Dynamics SL, WithoutWire Inventory Management software, Grain Smart, and Uniwin.
• Answer user questions, troubleshoot and resolve problems in our accounting application system.
• Train employees in the proper use of the programs and specific applications.
• Record, develop and review process and procedure documents for user training.
• Travel to all plant locations on a periodic basis.

Requirements

• Associates/bachelor's degree in business or accounting, related field or commensurate experience.
• 3-5 years of experience supporting enterprise applications; experience supporting Dynamics SL or other Financial Application would be preferred, but not required.
• Previous accounting experience or experience supporting the accounting function.
• Working knowledge of relational database structures (SQL) a plus.
• Ability to absorb and apply knowledge of new applications.
• Ability to teach and train effectively.
• Excellent communication and planning skills and the ability to prioritize appropriately.
