- Company: Keplr Vision Job Title: Accounts Payable Staff Accountant Position Location: Hybrid (After 90 Days) - Bloomington, IL Start Date: Immediately COMPANY Based in Bloomington, IL, Imperial Optical Holdings is the national headquarters of Acuity Optical Laboratories, LLC, a digital optical lens manufacturing laboratory for over 200 optometrists and optical retailers throughout the country, and Keplr Vision, a provider of optometric care and optical goods, currently with over 270 locations across more than 30 states. Keplr Vision works with eye care professionals to acquire ownership in their practices and to assist in practice management. This effort provides an appropriate exit strategy for practice owners, allows optometrists and opticians to focus on providing first-rate eyecare, and enables the practice’s staff and patients to benefit from experienced business operators. POSITION Keplr Vision is seeking an Accounts Payable Staff Accountant to join our finance team. The primary function of this position is to handle Statement Reconciliation, Invoice review/processing, processing Financial Transactions and assist on Projects and Month End tasks as assigned. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES – can include, but not limited to Assist with processing Financial Transactions Accurately review and processing vendor invoices Perform monthly Statement Reconciliations Help maintain Vendor accounts and historical records, respond to Vendor inquiries Cross Training with other Accounts Payable functions including check printing, Finance mail processing Assist with projects as necessary, may include Data Entry and Month End processes, report preparation Continuing to improve the payment process EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma required. Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred 1-2 years experience with accounts payable or general accounting preferred but not required, with a knowledge of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles Proficient Microsoft Office knowledge and skills Strong time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks COMPENSATION A competitive compensation package commensurate with the candidate’s experience.
