Accounts Payable Coordinator Job Description:

Position Information: 16-24hr Weekly
Pay Rate: $22-25 hourly

Plans, organizes, develops and implements all accounts payable functions in accordance with current company policies as well as federal, state and local regulations and procedures in an accurate, neat and organized manner while ensuring that the highest quality of service is provided.

Accounts Payable Coordinator Responsibilities:

• Process vendor invoices and expense reports for East Haven location
• Works closely with home office in Avon to complete full payment cycle.
• Participate in AP month end close and successfully meet established deadlines 
• Daily communication with vendors and branch locations
  
  Qualifications:    
• Completion of secondary education showing the ability to read, perform mathematical calculations, write in a legible manner and follow oral and written directions in English.
• ·      Possess strong computer skills and ability to work with accounts payable systems.
• ·      Attention to detail, good follow through skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• ·     Demonstrates cooperation in assisting others and ability to work as a team.
• Ability to work either independently or collaboratively as needed
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Distinctly self-motivated and capable of handling multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Knowledge of general accounting procedure
• Knowledge of Great Plains accounting software
• Proficient in data entry and management
• 1-3 years accounts payable or general accounting experience
