JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Hotel Tango National & Regional Accounts Manager is responsible for managing and growing the sales and distribution of the Hotel Tango portfolio in large grocery channels, which includes the Military exchange network. This role is responsible for owning all relationships with assigned retailers and pertinent wholesaler contacts, along with all associated administrative duties related to the National Accounts landscape. This position will oversee the successful execution of the annual programming calendar to increase product awareness and activation at retail, including the management of experiential activities.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
National & Regional Account Sales Management
Build and leverage sincere relationships with assigned retail partners in all markets through calls, meetings and in-person visits to retail establishments
Execute monthly buyer calls
Meet all program deadline submissions
Meet all new item deadline submissions
Create, present and execute promotional programming with key retail accounts and distributor partners across all geographies
Monthly market visits for top retailers in all geographies
Responsible for successful completion and tracking of all forms and applications related to assigned accounts
Wholesaler National Accounts Team Relations
Build and leverage sincere relationships with wholesaler key account managers in all markets
Execute monthly meetings with wholesaler National & Regional Accounts partners to discuss goals, programs, and scans
Work with Sales Director to create effective incentives and programming for wholesale partners
Seek out new opportunities for the Hotel Tango portfolio of spirits in the way of new retailers, new distributions, expanded programming, periodic merchandising and promotional activities
Identify gaps for brand growth based off of can buys vs did buys
Analyze, evaluate and share the results of promotional programming on an on-going basis
Build and leverage sincere relationships with Military exchange retail partners
Conduct in person meetings in effort to grow sales and nurture relationships with base-level retailers in all Military markets
Execute bi-yearly Military base visits (monthly in Indiana) to survey, sell and activate in Military exchanges
Create, present and execute promotional programming specific to the Military channel
Strategize and manage ongoing experiential activities in bases across all Military markets
Responsible for successful completion and tracking of all forms and applications related to the Military exchange network
Retail Pricing, Features and Promotions
Work with Sales Director and team members to strategize price adjustments, temporary price features, potential couponing or scan backs, and pricing promotions around key selling periods
Communicate price changes to pertinent parties in a timely manner and coordinate with retailers to achieve reflected retail price adjustments
Budget Planning and Accountability
Responsible for the assigned budget related to National & Regional Accounts management
Report expenses in budget tracking systems in a timely manner
Make necessary adjustments to spending and planning throughout the year to maintain plan
Outline financial needs that will stimulate National and Regional Accounts business to Director of Sales
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree
6 years of experience within the adult beverage industry
Valid Indiana Alcohol & Salesman Permit
Clean driving record to qualify for company insurance
Must have experience in calling on National Accounts or large Regional Accounts
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Drive and Mac computing
Strong leadership, communication, team management, and organizational skills
Must be able to work under pressure
Ability to inspire action in others via education, management and direction
